If You Want Toned Arms, You Have To Go After Them On Purpose!
Arm Exercise #1 – Up Dog Down Dog
Similar to the downward dog yoga move, you’re going to start from a push up position. Next, you’ll push yourself back into your heels, extending at the shoulders.
You should feel a stretch in your hamstrings.
Finally, return to your starting position.
Repeat for multiple reps.
Arm Exercise #2 – Elevated Push Up – Close Grip
When you position your hands close together on an elevated surface (like a bench or chair), you reduce the difficulty, and this allows you to get more reps. With this exercise, you’ll be able to tone your arms faster as compared to doing them on the floor.
Do this exercise exactly like a push up. Remember to keep your hands close together!

Arm Exercise #3 – Lateral Raise

Holding a dumbbell that’s the appropriate weight for you, start by standing with both of your arms down by your sides. Then, raise your arms out, making sure to keep them straight.
Your movements will stop when your arms are perpendicular to your body. Be sure to keep the dumbbells perpendicular to the floor.
Lower your arms back down to your sides, and repeat the movement 10-15 times. Do this 3-4 times.
Arm Exercise #4 – Isometric Tricep Exercise
This is a great way to tone your arms. It doesn’t require any fancy equipment, in fact, you can do it right now.
Give this a try: Hold out one arm straight by locking your elbow hard. To increase the tension further, try putting your arm behind your body as you clench your fist.
If you really want to amp up the tension, do both arms at the same time.
Use all your mental focus to squeeze your tricep muscles firmly. This will fire up the muscles at the back of your arm(s), causing a toning effect.
Arm Exercise #5 – Isometric Bicep Exercise
Like the isometric tricep exercise, you’re going to concentrate a specific arm muscle – your biceps. This time, instead of straightening your arm, you’re going to bend the elbow joint.
Start by making a fist so that you the muscles of your forearms tense up. Then, bend your elbow by concentrating your bicep muscle. Imagine your arm is like a nut cracker trying to crush a walnut shell.
The harder you squeeze your fist, the more you will feel those arm muscles wake up.
Arm Exercise #6 – Overhead Bottled Water Tricep Extension
You might be really surprised that you can feel this. If you happen to be at the office or have access to a water bottle at home, you can use it.
Start by picking up a full water bottle with your right hand. Then, bend your right elbow and place it behind your head. Your elbow will be pointing straight up towards the sky.
Then, reach up with your left hand to hold onto the elbow or upper arm of your right. This will secure both your right arm and elbow in place. Next, you’re going to straighten out your right arm.
This will work your tricep and tone it, quickly.
Exercise #7 – Walk And Park Further Away
This one is really simple. All you have to do is walk more. You can do this by parking your car further away and just making time to walk at least 3 times per week. Every day would be better.
Over time, if you increase the number of calories you burn every day, you can literally walk off 50 pounds of body fat.
Simply take the long way, get more steps in every day, and you can tone your arms faster.
